“谷神的困惑”

The moon is making wine inside my body, I guess.
Period flew like river, nourished the land, grape fields grew.
Through this painting, I attempted to combine the Dionysian and the matriarchal ideology of Taoism and find out the relevances to women's period. Period is such a mysterious phenomenon and filled with magic. I think the period is like a symbolism of a break of regulation, and the pain.In Greek mythologies, most of followers of Dionysus are women. In Taoism, the book Tao Te Ching, there is a chapter about the "Valley Goddess". It also called "mysterious motherhood". "Heaven and earth appeared from her gate." I was attracted by this expression so much. Maybe something painful is not a tragedy, the most crucial thing is beyond the pain, we see it in a positive way.
